to Kardamena.
In the low season and the main season
every day tourist-boats leave the harbour of Kardamena in the morning to
go to Nisyros. Ask for the departure times (the trip takes about 1 h).
All day in the afternoon the "Agios Konstantinos" or "Nisyros" goes from
Kardamena to Nisyros.
Attention!
If the weather is worse (stormy) the boats must stay in the harbour.

If the weather is worse (stormy) first little boats, if the storm is more
strong the big boats too, must stay in the harbour. If the storm is strong,
it is possible that big ferryboats are allowed to leave the harbour but
can not dock on Nisyros, so they have to pass by (next harbour in Tilos).

Take the aeroplane to Rhodes. Take a taxi
to the harbour.
In the low season and the main season
once a week (monday in 2005 season) the "Sea Star", a catamaran-ferryboat,
leaves Rhodes to go to Tilos and further to Nisyros. Ask for the departure
times (the trip takes about 2 h, perhaps with an interrupt in Tilos).

This year (2005) there was also a flying
dolphin at friday direct from Rhodes to Nisyros.
